Long-distance auxiliary cruising sloop sailed regularly in the Classic Yacht Association (CYAA) races,
BUNGOONA is a fully-documented example of post-war Sydney yacht design and construction using local timbers, materials and methods. Her current mast and boom are the original spars as designed by Alan Payne in 1957.

BUNGOONA is listed on the Australian Register of Historic Vessels.
