Race 2 Summary
Today’s race made up for the abandoned race one.The unexpected southerly wind gave the fourteen strong fleet a decent beat to the first mark.

It’s a photo call between Acrospire III and the Tumalaren Dingo for first across the start line one second after the race start whistle was sounded. A video of the Race 2 start shows start line honours have gone to Acrospire III. followed by Dingo.

Congratulations to the well trimmed Tumlaren Snow Goose for first on corrected time placing. The tight corrected times for the next four placings showed that kites were needed for the light wind as leading boats who had to goosewing were caught out when they had to bear off somewhat to keep moving.

Acrospire III bought the fleet home with her line honours take out.
Some notable performances were seen by the first five corrected time boats.

Congratulations to Tandanya for her remarkable return to classic yacht racing
considering the long layoff from classic yacht racing.

Still waiting on RMYS to be notified by Top Yacht that entries can be submitted for these events.
An entries now open message will be sent out whenever Top Yacht complete the event preparation work.
