The current forecast for Sunday indicates good racing conditions with some reasonable strength northerlies.

2014 Cup Regatta

Entries are constantly being received.

The Cup Regatta documentation has been prepared. A selection of 9 Courses has been set up for 2 races on the Saturday and Sunday. This documentation will soon appear on our Web site.

News of the Cup Regatta featuring  Classic Yachts of Sayonara Cup fame racing against the top ocean racers of the 70’s and a team from CYANZ competing has drawn requests for more news from other Classic Yacht Associations. What these people are told is that this is all true and we have a fleet of Classic Yachts and Couta Boats from all the major yacht clubs competing. Another aspect of the Cup Regatta that has drawn international attention is the Friday invitational events, the Guineas Cup and Inter Association Challenge.

So, let’s hope the conditions for Sunday are in favour when the CYAA Pennat drops at 10:30 from the RMYS St. Kilda tower.

Cheers to all
