Dear Skippers and Crews of the 2012 Summer Series.
Our race this Sunday March 4 is a pursuit start from the Royals marina committee box.
Attached are the Sailing Instructions and the list of entries with their assigned start times and group number.
The current weather forecast for Sunday indicates some decent wind.
The Royals race director, David LeRoy, will select a course deemed suitable for our open cockpit yachts.
We will have some faces sailing with our fleet this race.
From Beechworth North East, Jeff Allen with his son Lachlan and Jeff’s mate Phil Newman with his daughter will be on the water with us.
Jeff and Phil, with their families have been long time followers our Classics
They approached our association to further their interest in Classic Yachting
They will be with Bungoona and Mercedes. I’ll introduce them to our racing members at Royals after the race.
